2021 Gold Coast Volunteer Awards Finalists

Modest Gold Coasters Recognised For Their Generosity

Judging for the 2021 Gold Coast Volunteer Awards hosted by Volunteering Gold Coast is complete and the finalists in each of the six categories has been announced.

VGC received over one hundred nominations from dedicated Not-For-Profits, individuals and corporate entities from the Gold Coast. The overall winners for each category will be announced at the celebratory Gala Dinner to be held at HOTA on Saturday 4th December 2021.

In conjunction with International Volunteer Day celebrated on 5th December 2021, this event will showcase 18 incredible Not-For-Profit organisations, individuals, community projects, diversity and inclusion initiatives and corporate social impact programs.  The exclusive event gives people the opportunity to acknowledge the power of volunteerism and how kind hearted people of the Gold Coast community are supporting one another.

“It is clear by the high quality of nominations this year, that the previous 20 months has united people, igniting compassion and support. The standard of the nominations were inspiring, and made the judging process challenging.  All nominees could be winners in their own way simply for what they give back to the community in their own time.” Said Mrs Nicole Smith – General Manager Marketing & Communications.
