Our organisation encompasses several diverse arms – lifesaving services, community education, membership services, surf sports, fundraising and commercial training – but they all contribute to one overarching purpose. Our goal is to make our beautiful beach accessible to everyone which we have been able to achieve. Partnering with VGC, we launched the accessible beaches program in 2019 to allow people in wheelchairs, mobility needs and families to access the beach. Volunteers make this program sustainable by donating their time and sharing the same goal to create an accessible community.
