Volunteering Gold Coast is excited to be hosting the Gold Coast Volunteer Awards again this year to celebrate International Volunteer Day 2020.

The Gold Coast Volunteer Awards are a special recognition to organisations and members of the community who are generously contributing their time and resources to creating social impact in the community.

  • Gold Coast Volunteer of the Year
  • Gold Coast Youth Volunteer of the Year
  • Gold Coast Community Organisation of the Year
  • Gold Coast Community Project of the Year
  • Gold Coast Diversity and Inclusion Initiative of the Year
  • Gold Coast Corporate Social Impact Award

Finalists for the 2020 Gold Coast Volunteer Awards will be announced Monday 9 November 2020. 

Hot Tomato is bringing the Gold Coast Volunteer Awards to Life!

Due to Covid-19 we were unfortunately unable to safely host the awards gala dinner at HOTA like we originally planned. 

HOWEVER we are able to bring the awards back to life thanks to our Media Partner 102.9 Hot Tomato!

Tune in to Hot Tomato’s breakfast show to hear the announcements of the finalists and winners and interviews of some of the finalists and winners.

Classic Holidays has kindly offered a gift voucher for 7 days accommodation at one of their resorts to our Volunteer and Youth Volunteer of the year winners. 

Harrman Cyber has been working with small to medium business and not for profits helping them to reduce their risk of a cyberattack and data beach through online education that helps people work in a secure manner both in the workplace and at home.

As part of our commitment to support Not for Profits, the winner of our other categories will have 12 months’ access to the eLearning suite of tools for Cyber Security and the Australian Notifiable Data Breach Act.
