A Volunteer Community-Led Transport Solution

Have you been thinking about volunteering in the community? Do you enjoy driving? Do you have a passion for your community?

Volunteering Gold Coast has been providing a high level of transport services to the community for over 20 years and we could use your help getting customers to and from their appointments.

We are now excited to expand our services to Tweed and Banora Point so that more customers can maintain their independence and stay connected to the community.

Join our team of volunteer drivers on the Gold Coast and start making a difference today.

Gold Coast Transport Services

What are the requirements?

  • The first step is to fill out a driver’s application form. You can find it online here
  • Make sure you have a valid open drivers license, traffic check, and have completed your Covid-19 vaccination status
  • NDIS worker screening clearance will be required (formally yellow card) and we will arrange this
  • Someone will then contact you on your application status

Why volunteer to become a driver?

  • Help solve a growing problem for the elderly, people living with a disability, and others in need of reliable transportation
  • It’s fun. With a few limitations, you can choose your own schedule and where you drive. It’s easy, too: no special training is required
  • Social interaction and engagement, which is life-changing for many
  • It’s a great way to meet new people in the community while helping those who may be struggling with mobility issues
