Gold Coast Beach Parade – is a new world record attempt for the greatest number of people (men, women and children) in koala ear visors involved in a beach parade. It will be held on Sunday, 16 May.
It’s time to support your local community, be social and meet new people by volunteering at this amazing event. To learn more about the festival, click here.
Beach Marshalls Volunteers are needed to assist with people, directing and answering questions. Our beach parade participants will walk in single file and in these COVID times, we need everyone to stay socially distanced and we need your help in ensuring this is done in a fun, encouraging and good-natured way. If you are confident, like to be involved in community events, enjoy being outdoors and want to help save the city’s Koalas – this volunteer role is for you!
