VGC Member Description
Established in 1982, the Gold Coast Eisteddfod provides opportunities and encouragement for young performers – whilst promoting the performing arts in all genres of music, dance and drama. GCE is the only Tropicarnival event still in operation, having seen over one million feet cross the stage from when it commenced to now. It is now the largest competition of its kind in the country, staged from July to September each year.
