This award celebrates the efforts of organisations or projects that have made a positive impact on the Gold Coast community through volunteerism. Eligible organisations must be not-for-profit, and while they don’t necessarily have to be registered charities, they should be primarily run by Gold Coast volunteers or provide significant support to them. Community projects, on the other hand, can be a new or existing initiative by a not-for-profit organisation that is predominantly managed by volunteers and contributes to the betterment of the Gold Coast community.
